Description
PhoDoc® is a visualization solution developed by Odfjell Drilling Technology, as a part of the firm’s complete package of services and technologies for the offshore drilling market. The solution is web-based GIS system for offshore rig environments. Rigs are visualized and mapped with coordinates, which when combined with live data streams from databases users can see and make use of the when, what, and where of the offshore environment. The solution also allows users to add layers to drawings, in order to plan modifications, deck usage, or tag areas or items with further information. These layers are then saved and shared with project groups. Thus, allowing for onshore planning and collaborating with other onshore and offshore personnel. The tool is implemented along with consulting services in process integration and optimisation.
